is there a restriction of using certain RX ?

Unless your receiver is a normal PWM type (ie non-S.BUS receiver), then you are restricted only to PWM connection option.
DSM2/DSMJ/DSMX has the privilege to use Satellite options supported by the G31 for JR and Spektrum owners.


3 connection types:
1) PWM (your normal receiver connections)
2) S.BUS (for those receivers with S.BUS)
3) External Satellite via SRX cable provided

what i meant is after doing the +-12 and cyclic +8.
do i still adjust the pitch curve to what i needed on the Tx ? and also for the throttle curve.
or i leave the throttle curve and pitch curve as straight line on the Tx ?

Yes, you still need to set the pitch curves (Normal/Idle1/Idle2) and the throttle curves (Normal/Idle1/Idle2) just as you would do for your flybar heli... the +-12 and the 8deg cyclic pitch is the basic setup for each and every new heli you setup for the first time. It has nothing to do with Pitch Curves and Throttle Curves as they are done on your Radio Transmitter.

Please note : Cyclic Pitch and Blade Pitch is different...

ccpm only

I just bought today g31 and im planning to setup for raptor30 and i found out it is not compatible because left and right arm of the swash is using one servo. it is meant for ccpm only.

Thank you for your support for G31.
Current swash types are for eCCPM & CCPM. However Robird just reverted that they are currently finalizing the mechanical mixing swashtype in their next firmware update to be released in a couple of weeks. The next update will include governor parameters together with the additional swashtype that were not included in your case.

Please note that your TT Raptor 30 is currently a flybar helicopter as they did not have FBL since their release about 12 years ago. It highly recommended that you make a full conversion to a full-fledged FBL Rotor head for G31.

As i am very new to FBL head and systems. questions should be ask . But the G31 and VWNRC head was truly easy.
Finally get it up and fly the tail lock was awesome .
