S bach 342 Assembly Thread

After the demise of my EF Extra EXP, i was in the hunt for something to replace it.
After some visit to Fook Hai, The S bach which has always been a fav was the choice of plane. (First choice is always an Edge 540)

Aerosmith has one hanging in their shop and at SGD$179 it looks alright for killing those itchy fingers..

This is what came out of the box.

Box was packed nicely but as usual with me there's bound to be stuff i will change. With my gas planes the fuel tank gets to the bin first. With all ARF planes the wheels go first.

2 Dry Fitting

Fisrt dry fit to see how the plane will look like



The Fure wall looks like it can do a nitro or electric setup



But I epoxied the Motor box since i'm going electric.


Once the Motor box is done i CA a bass wood plank for easy cable tying of the Hobby wing 60amp ESC


Next was finding the spot fro the RX, Since there was a "bridge" on the fuse i decided to take tat one

Since the Tails controls are run by 2 Elevators and 1 rudder, I went with 2 noisy HXT900 fro the Elevator and a Single EMax MG for Rudder





AS said earlier i prefer to change some stuff to fit my liking. First to go was the Tail wheels. I use my old EF EXP ones.

It should be a 25 Size Nitro Plane..As the inside of it has everything you need to go nitro.
Too bad no 8cc Gasser.

I should be asking you guys when my next JB trip will be..A few guys here asking already
