xtr reflex and futaba 7cap

Hi, has anyone managed to connect the futaba 7cap tx to their reflex xtr software?

The 7cap has a square connector whilst most tx have the older round one, so i used a sq to round converter from NTC for realflight on the xtr usb connector.

R there compatibility issues? Or do i need to do some settings on the trainer part of the tx for it to work?
