    High Elevation Flight Considerations

Hi Guys - Wondering if anyone has previous experience flying your multirotor at high elevations (like in the Himalayas at 3,000+ meters above sea level)...
Obviously the air is thinner which will affect power and lift, and consequently flight times will be shortened, etc.
So I'm trying to figure out what is the best way to "combat" these issues - is it as "simple" as running a larger prop to help offset the loss of lift?
Should the pitch of the props be adjusted/increased as well?
I'm not so worried about the flight times; rather more so the ability to keep the rig in the air and stable / under control!
I assume that a hex or octo would be better suited than a quad when flying in such thin air, as they generally have a higher power-to-weight ratio and are capable of lifting greater payloads...(?)

Any experienced advice anyone can share would be greatly appreciated...!

    Thanks All!
    -Matthew
