there's a lot of chatter (n helifreak) about selling the Logo XXtreme in kit form. At the moment it mikado is not offering it in kit form due to the following reasons.

- since most of us are having 700 size electronics(ESC and motor) at the moment, mikado do not want us to fit those electronics into the xxtreme.. end up blowing the ESC or not getting the expected performance, and complaining the machine didn't meet expectations...etc

- xxtreme's performance on 12s is not even good enough for sport flying..the performance on 12s is disappointing to say the least, and a jive 120+ ESC will powercut easily. Therefore after Mikado's extensive testing, they are bundling what they have tested to be RELIABLE and offering the performance they wanted.

it's a 14s or above machine. Period. that's from dave dahl

- actually taking into account the bundled electronics, price of the kit is not so bad for a 800 size.

The wait might be long for this brother. But if the kit is gonna be out, I might send one out to "cloner nation" for immediate fabrication to compete for it's price! We'll see if Euro gets to come down by then...

Still waiting for the Kit price bro. It seems for the moment they may not debundle the combo. Will see again. A bit hefty as Euro is charging taxes whereas if we go thru' freight Hongkong is cheaper. A gap of 500-600 difference in price. But anyway, confirmed rapport with UK for his trade pricing.

Now back to the Mikado drawing board. I had a very good talk live with the UK dealer pertaining the order. He was advised not to take pre-orders at the moment until a stipulated soon date is affirmed when he rang up Mikado. I'm thoroughly impressed with his rapport & assurance in his upbeat & keep up with the heli trends. He has affirmed our reservations with him and promise in his prices due. Excellent fluent Englishmen & gentlemen in the business!

For the moment, KDS INNOVA series including 550E & High Amp Batteries 6S are being reviewed in his vicinity.

Mikado Logo XXtreme is hard to think out of the box. It a best piece of powerful 3D Picasso beast art that none of the birds will ever be on par. If u seen it by next year, I can place full bets your jaws are going to drop way deep down.

Speaking out of topic...
Frankly, mounting vehicle underneath this heli is a total waste as it is meant to be in the air spontaneously or ferociously at every 360pivot point if we're to look at RC model ratio size.

To do a 1:1 dream-size is frankly like going inside RWS with 100bucks & expect to come out with a few millions return. Proposal & funding have to be ample with much collaboration with big boys who share or see the same dream.

Without a plan or a system to roll out, it will forever be dead with a concept that never exist to reach commercially. To implicate further, air space is restricted in the zone. If we're any different or too obvious, we're likely to invite trouble. So stamp down & have to be logically directed or be down to earth & be realistic. We have to wake up from dreams for the next morning...

Btw, to combine Apache & BMW with 4wheels to run on road is a good idea. I dun think LTA will like that as they cannot put ERP Gantry in the air. Perhaps we won't get to see that in the next 10years even when we're old, retired & growing plants.
