Hello all:
I had have problems with my AR7100R rev limiter sensor since I install it on my YS91SR trex700n. I had a 100% throttle curve in my stunt modes and the moment I goes into stunt modes, it goes 100% throttle. Damm scary..!!
Initially I thought I had a bad sensor and tried new ones but still no avail.
I posted in the RunRyder thread asking for help.
A super kind soul came to my aid: John Adams from Horizon/ Spektrum. I tried his method today and it works..!! Therefore I decided to post this up for the benefits of other YS91SR/ Spektrum sersor user.
Here is how it goes (advise from Adams)
The YS engine requires that you spacesthe sensor 1-2mm from the back plate. This can be done by installing washers under the sensor mount or by putting the sensor in the .50 engine position. The issue I am having is the sensor is to close to the crankpin and crank weight and it's not seeing the difference.
Thanks Adams..!!
MY TREX700N IS SET TO GO..!!
