just wondering, since FM can't really penetrate water, how does the sub get the radio signal? the only subs i saw that could receive stuff from the surface used infrared, or in the case of american nuclear missle subs, Ultra low freq, or Super low freq
HF signal can not go through water?
i tried in the swimming pool last year, 27MHz 4 ch radio, ask a friend holding the TX, i bring the RX and a GWS servo down to 2M depeth.. the servo was working very well..
for long distance, surely can not. but few cm away, RF still can go through.
May I know what photo you want??? Its the same as the one on top that I posted.
David, sorry to disappoint you but this submarine got no servos at all. It has 2 propellers that are in fixed position. To submerge, just push the sub forward and it will go down. Reverse and the sub will rise. Left n right, one of the propellers will stop causing it to turn. By default, it will float!!! It has a powerful blue LED in front which can be used as a torchlight!!!
Overall its fun to play but its quite uncontrollable. And the batts only last a short 5-10mins before it needs to be charged by the tx again!!!.
Dont expect precision movement with this toy!!! But definately having a fun time with my fishes!!!
Adrian,
U're one very totful and caring owner! I've friends who own big fishes as well but none of them bother to do so up close and personal interaction....
