For Sale: NIB MLD-28cc Gasoline Engine
The MLD 28CC gas engine by Melody is one of the best economical motors for the 9-11 pound airframes (most 68"-72" 3D ARF's). Prop hub stands only 5.2" off the firewall so you do not have to cut into the firewall and stick the carb into the motor box. Since you will have access to the needles tuning is much easier. The performance if the motor in our opinion is great, as a side benefit it is cost effective as well. This power house is capable of producing the 3D power we look for on 3D 26CC-30CC models. Injected cylinder not cast, Walbro carb, Melody CDI ignition capable of running up to 8.4V (one less regulator to short).
Engine is new. Not used.
Selling as I have decided not to use it in the intended Airframe.
