    Futaba 6EX Vs T6J

I understand what's the diff between FHSS and FASST 2.4 systems in that they use different logic and are not compatible with one another.

in terms of the specs found on http://www.futaba-rc.com/systems/feature-compare.html
i find that the T6J has more items especially the variable control knob which i need.

However, FHSS is relatively new and has no 3rd party affordable receivers yet. Does anyone think a third party FHSS futaba receiver will be produced?

eg orange FASST rx for futaba systems sold by HK.

Not too sure about the third party Futaba receivers being produced, but I can tell you that the 6J is a really good Tx, my school just got one and we're so happy that one of the flyers is sad that he bought a Dx6i
    Flew!

well thats good news. im currently using an outdated futaba T6XAS which has more features than the other 2.4 futaba 6EX fasst system.

korio, i understand the T6J has an inbuilt antenna system. any comment about the range of models you fly Outdoors?

and one more thing about the batteries: i understand it comes with NONE. it only uses 4 'AA' cells. are you able to pop in rechargeable batteries and use the charging port to charge the batteries? (i have the my own futaba tx wall charger)

I dont use AA anymore. This tx actually is using a Futaba tx power plug! Remove the Futaba lead for the AA, swap in my 2s Lipo with Futaba plug to fit in the batt compartment.

Reason: My 2s lipo can charge in 15Mins. Rechargeable AA.....wait till hair become white... I use AA as backup only when lipo runs low in the field... pop in 4 AA batts and good to go!

              I using a 1000mAh 2S Lipo.

Connector: Futaba tx plug or Jst will work. The socket is jus a 3pin receiver socket.

Battery juz anyone that can fit into the small battery tray. I used 2S 7.4V.

just bought a T6J. Wont lipo 2s 7.4v over voltage because it designed for 5 cells nicd 6.5v?
