The deed....

1 deep cut above right eyebrow...5 stitches
1 cut beside right nosril
tip of nose sheared off.....

Damaged...

$40 from GP
$80 from SGH A&E....

Duh.....2 gallons of CP 30% and some other stuff....OR....top up $20 for MS composite 600 carbons....



I was lucky....the prop missed my eye by 2 cm....

I was also wearing glasses....

the tip of the nose thuogh sheared off...wasn't painful....just bled like mad...for 3 hours....

Time of incidence...2100 hrs

Time nose stopped bleeding....0045 hrs

time I got home...0535hrs....

damn.....

Guys...careful with your machines....all the more since more members are turning nitro....

wa piang! Art.... you deserve a purple heart !!! Hope you are ok! Don't give up the machine man. Me also got cut on my shin thanks to the Funkey Carbon blades before (bone deep), accidently switch to idle up before blade stop on the ground as I palm stopped the bugger...
Don't ask me why I still awake this hour! Me need to report to airport for Guangzhou, see whether can search for a hobby shop after my gig there...

Art stay away from the kite and fly a real plane.

Fear all that are RC....very important rule.
Just that sometimes we forget when we fly a less intimidating machine.
i fly my sceadu at least 20 feet away from me.
didn't realise that i was hovering my honey bee 2 feet from my face

Hi all. Thanks for highlighting the danger and safety aspects of RC. Hope Art is better now. Looks like I had better exercise more caution once I started on a GWS slow stick !! Have been taking the safety aspects of small DWE KPOO motors for granted as the small U80 prop could be stopped using your finger without cutting yourself !! Looks like got to tell the kids to stay clear of the larger motor.

yupz rc is not a toy... be very careful and respect it.

i noticed that ep heli flyer treat their heli like toys and nitro heli flyers teat their machine with respect.. maybe because of the size...
