It has been observed that the rotor head (EK1-0200) of the new Honey Bee T E003 is too flexible for high load flights. Even with the included 7.2V 300mAh Ni-Mh Battery Pack, the main blade would flex upwards unpredictably when approaching 70% throttle, causing the entire helicopter to wobble and sway unpredictably.

If your new Honey Bee T E003 is affected by this problem, please approach your dealer for a FREE rotor head upgrade. The EK1-0200A Enhanced Rotor Head is actually the same as the EK1-0200 Standard Rotor Head with an additional fibreglass plate as stiffener.

Please also ensure that you tighten the rotor head screws. It is observed that some pilots prefer to keep the screws loose, and let the centrifugal force spans out the main blade. Nevertheless, in our many trials, the Honey Bee T is most stable if you tighten the rotor head screws.

Do note that the Rotor Head EK1-0200 and EK1-0200A is meant for the NEW ESKY Honey Bee T E003 only. If you have the older ESKY Honey Bee T 5003, you should be looking at SK001 and SK001A instead. They are not interchangeable as the ball-joint of the newer rotor head is bigger.

Do also note that the FREE Rotor Head Upgrade is only applicable to the NEW ESKY Honey Bee T E003. Please bring along your proof of purchase such as receipt or invoice to the hobby shop where you bought your Honey Bee T E003.
