    Indoor flying anyone?

So much been said, may I know how many DH member have taken part in any National Competition (outdoor / indoor; Helicopter or Airplane).

It is not easy to find indoor flying space even if we are willing to pay. Mr. Fredrick from SHS has help many times to book badmintons courts in ACS. ($15 per flying session of 2 Hrs per Flyer).

May I know how many DH members are willing to pay for indoor flying spaces if more flyers it can be cheaper?

Thank You Keng Peng for helping to set-up my DF interceptor, your help will be remembered.

Threads alone will not help very much. My DF interceptors never fly, until it has been check and adjust by Keng Peng.

Things like this cannot be talk or explain in any Threads. If any DH member is SERIOUS about indoor flying, willing to share and learn together than we have to fly together.

Lets take a poll who are the ones willing to pay for indoor flying spaces in ACS.

Instead of us rushing after work on weekdays to holland rd to catch last light to fly our planes, we can fly indoor on weekdays where we do not worry about rain or night. And on weekends we can fly our speed demons Isn't that a win-win situation

If location is at ACS it is good as it is quite near to some of my friends who are working or studying near Dover I can pay for the rental but I'm sure working adults will not mind chipping in. Puma, just tell us which are the days of the week that you fly indoor at ACS. And is the hall big enough for helis? I'm sure Kam and his gang will be keen too if the place is suitable for helis

Hmm. I'm not sure if what I will post is considered thread hijacking, but I hope it will be of help.

I teach in a secondary school and have a hall. I'm not sure if it's big enuff for indoor flying and whether or not my Principal is willing to rent it out. I guess if there's a big enough crowd and depending on how I "sell" the idea to her, I MAY be able to get a hall for those interested. No promises. My school is in Hougang and may be more convenient for those living around here.

I apologise if this is out of place. :P
        I can haz diving?

We have not been flying at ACS for sometime. Mr. Fredrick is the one who help us book the hall. Let me ask him when the hall is available and the cost, will post when I have the info.

I am 42 and many who received this E-mail are not student. I think Simon need you all to help guide the students and to introduce more different type of indoor flying. They need to move on from indoor beginner’s plane to something different like 3D, Aerobatic or Scale plane.

Hope DH War-bird flyers can make an indoor Demo.

                            Hi Puma,

It's good news that we can fly at SYFC but is it open to public?
I can't join you this Sat, next Sat morning should be fine.
Are you able to take some pics of the hangar and your indoor planes for us to see?
