Brushless Mod!!

nobody reply my post so i just tried my luck on these setup.

luckily it's work here's my mod:

1. Align 35A car BM ESC.
2. Excellence 130 BM 7400Kv.
3. 2ch Futaba AM RX.

These three item to replaced the ori ACE RXESC.

what i do?
1. take out the ori RXESC and 280 motor.

2. dremel a flat surface on the 2mm bm shaft(same dia. with the 280 motor) to secure the ori pinion.

3. install the bm. (i found it can't fit cause by the bigger neck. so i reamed the motor mount to bigger hole to accept the bm after this step it can be fit in nicely even my handwork not so nice and it have more space to do adjustment also if i change the bigger pinion in future , now using the ori 12T pinionin 2mm shaft )

4. cut away the ori 7.2V Ni-Mh batt pack connector and solder the dean connector instead.( i hv 2 and 3 cell lipo pack using dean connector also, the Align bm esc can take lipo up to 5 cell, so no waste!!hehehe..... )

5. after all these things fix, i set it up and test run in my living room. see to believe. now this MT wheelie on tile and even flip over if i press the trigger on my tx. will need to test it outdoor mayb 2moro come back from work. hope so. hehe.....

hey what mini truck is that?
hmm i got one mini truck also... i want to try BL set up on it, cuz i guess it will run too hot, let me know how it goes....

btw, where can i find those spare parts for little trucks like that? cuz i need something so minor, but i guess i have to buy that whole shocks if i want that piece... hmmm

what brand is your truck?
if it a popular brand such as kyosho or tamiya i think there are agents in singapore where you should beable to buy parts for shocks

aaaah thats a hard one... have u checked at the place you purchased it from? you might be able to get a different one but might need to mod ur car

Thunder Tiger Zk2

It's ZK2, from Thunder Tiger, same manufacturer as the Raptor nitro heli.
So quality is there! similar to mini-T but i get it from Malaysia Frenz, basic parts hv . local TT dealer:ROTOR didn't bring in this model See this:

So far i slammed it once in to the real car tire that park by the side of the driveway when 1st test run my bl setup , at full speed in bl setup
Amazingly only the front bumper bent a little on the composite plastic and 2 of the holding screws , i just remove these parts and bent it back to ori shape, everything is done. with that kind of speed i can say it is tough

Next move i will custom make a wheelie bar for it (a must mod for bl setup), cause in bl setup this little MONSTER REALLY LIKE TO WHEELIE A LOT! the real bumper now is full of scratches and will make also a custom plate to reposition the electronics.

Now hv 4 pcs of HPI micro pinion in 9T, 10T, 11T, 13T, + 12T(ZK2 ori), total 5 different pinions for me to change

i ran both ori 7.2v ni-mh and 2 cell lipo 1900 and 3 cell 2200.

definitely it's the fastest and most fun truck that i own and played
