Mini gathering of old-time flyers (from Junior Flying Club days) at Punggol field this hot sunny morning.
Mostly self-designed & built electric planes using 6mm foam which are very low cost and lots of fun !

Tony's self-designed bi-plane, simple just whack all the foams together, quick balance of CG, and there you are! Lots of power using a 2Cell lipo!

which part of punggol do u guys fly? do u go every weekends?

Hi Shark, its similar to IFO, except minus the ripstock and anyhow built from scratch.

Instead I used foam which is cheaper. (i.e. 6mm foam big piece about $4.50 vs 1m x 1m ripstock $12.50)

Just whack a piece of 3mm rod from Jet Hobby plus some sprus sticks and thats it.

Flew very well and simple to built.

Hi Cerealkiller, we usually fly at Pongol Field on Sat and Sun morning when less
kite flyers. This place is not for Nitro planes as the police sometimes patrol around this area. So long as we don't fly near the LTR tracks and avoid TPE,
small electric planes should be fine, I think...hmmmm...... anyway, come drop by Sat or Sun morning with your electric planes man....
