Fuse: Don't sell your F-18! We are supposed to have a fly-together with Loyn and many others, must all take photo together mah! If crashed badly, at least you have a good excuse to start building a new one right? Don't sell don't sell! Scratch-built planes are priceless man!
Did you fly too far away? Sunday's weather don't look very good too right, rain clouds everywhere, maybe that's the reason why your F-18 is not so visible.
Loyn: Thanks, i hand-painted the dark canopy, the light grey is Tamiya spray can, alamak, two cans used up on fuselage just now, Not Enough!!! tomorrow must buy at least 3 cans to finish off the fuselage, i did not judge the amount of area to cover for the F-15, wah! another $30 bucks to buy the 3 cans!
I may intend to get a dual-action airbrush set (about S$100) from Jeniffer at Old Katong Shopping Center, yup, i used to buy tamiya, Hasegawa planes from her in my seconday school days, i would strap an old car tire complete with rim on my scrambler bike and ride to petrol station and pumped that tire up to who knows what pressure! Bring home and hook it up to my airbrush and start spraying my plastic models, that's the cheapest way to get my fix of compressed air!
Enough air to spray two 1:32 scale plastic models. I will do that again, mmmm, stamford tires got a lot of new discarded tires with rim, maybe i will find a used one, if a new one is less than $30 i'll buy one.
That dual-action airbursh sold at Jennifer's comes with the tire pressure adaptor i think, have to check. Soon my car would have another spare tire
My wife and kids will be curious why our car need another spare tire!
Picture shows the F-15's painted state when the spray can ran out

BTW it may not be too effective to paint such a large area with airbrush as it only cover very limited area. Especially for those design for fine art work. You may like to consider those basic type which only cost $45, which are design for large area usage come together with a paint bottle. Of cause cant do much with that for fine plastic modeling. Unless you are building large scale, but for the F15 you are building should not be a problem after all.
an increase of about 50 grammes from the 4 spray can! Should have used airbrush, haiz!
