Anyone own a Cloud Fly here? Need your help

    Hi Guys

I'm having a major problem on how to fix the servo to the aileron.

    Please look at this pic

The metal rod (I don't know what's the correct term for it) suppose to go through that gold thing and that gold thing supposed to be fix to the servo, but I have a problem. The metal rod simply do not want to go through after trying for so long, there are two sets and both sets cannot go through.

Another problem is, if you see the servo... errr that white thing, how to fix that gold thing to the white thing? the whole is so so small.

Anyone who have fix this before tell me the tricks?

    thanks guys.

Right! You will need to use the drill because the servo arm (white thing) is still 'virgin' (brand new, unused)...

I see, what kind of drill do you recommend for me to buy?

How about that gold think? I need to drill that gold thing too? because I can't get the rod to go through that gold thing too.

Did you try loosening the allen bolt in the 'gold thing'? You need a 1.5mm allen key.

From what i see in your pic, it seems that the grub screw is still quite deep in.

check for a "black thing" in the "gold thing". The black thing is known as a grub screw. It looks like this:

You will have to use an allan/hex key to loosen the grub screw to allow more room for you to insert the rod. After you have the rod in place, tighten the grub screw to secure the rod. Remember to use loctite.

                  Hope this helps.

btw, I saw this video where it looks like the purchase paste some transparent tape on the ailerone.....

What is it for? is it to strengthen the ailerone? anyone try this before? Just normal transparent tape will do?

Basically they use the scotch tape to prevent tearing on the ailerons but I don't recommend scotch tape as it will peal off easily. If you want get the 3m tape. Is Matt and translucent in color. Sorry no pics to show.

                          Enjoy your maiden flight.

Just a piece of advice as my mentors advice me..... Practise as long as you can on the sim.

                          Cheers
