Guys, Genexis and myself had talked about getting a car onboard camera.

On confirmation of go ahead of the MO, deposit may need to be collected in case someone back out last minute. No profit involved during the mass order, we merely trying to secure better pricing with qty. Currently they are having a promotion at $388.00

Also, the integrated GPS receiver, is it the latest chipset to acquire GPS signal fast??? SiRFstar III chipset???

Spoken to Michael. He cant answer my GPS question also, need to check with his counterpart in Korea.


Some other details I asked and answer given:

Distance from video where number plate of front car is visible is two car lengths either day or night.

Medium setting with resolution of 640 x 480 and 30fps, the provided 4GB SD card can last 7-8hrs of continuous recording.

Export video will only display date and time stamping. No speed indication or Lat n Long on the exported video but available in the software.


According to him, GPS lock from cold start is abt 1min. But he not sure of the GPS chipset used.


Thats all from me, good product. I am down for one set. Selling existing car camera soon.

For those who tape source from fuse box, good news. This camera runs on 12V, so no need to use step down.
