Shit happens..this time it happened to me.

I went to tampines yesterday with the intention of flying.

Kenny also came and flew his Trex. I stood beside him. After flying for a while...the heli went over his head and i knew something was wrong. I quickly tried to run and BANG. The Trex hit me. Immediately, the other guys stood up to see what had happened and since i wasn't in any pain, i went 'Im alright.'
My ear did feel a bit weird and so i touched it with my hand. When i saw my hand, there was blood on it and i shouted to the other guys and my dad that I was bleeding. So i went to my dad's car to grab some tissue to soak the blood. The top of my ear had a deep cut(not slice thru though).
Then i checked my shoulder. It was just a bruise and no bleeding.

So i packed up and went to the clinic. It was closed so i went home first to dress the wound. I went back later and my ear had to be stitched back a little.

First time going for such a minor surgery for me and i was a little afraid, but all went well.

Lesson learnt: helis are dangerous and NEVER stand near them

maybe we should have the pilot say something...

what's the cause of the crash?

It is very dangerous to fly models near to people...be it nitro or EP...

Kenny said that it was exactly like how he crashed the trex the other time. He said the controls felt very laggy and the trex was pirouetting over ours heads before i ran

Sounds like low batt Trex is still very dangerous.
I am glad u got away with some minor injuries. None the less it was traumatic. Can u imagine if the cut was 10cm lower, u be dead.

hmm, he should have been more cautious IF... when i used to fly the Trex, it was like... when there is only a slight drop in power... 7mins or so, i just stop... cuz i dont want to damage the batteries... also could be a safety issue as well...

I had told u it might be the ESC's internal BEC cutting off due to overloading or similar. Best if u could rectify the issue asap.

Flying a heli when you know it's not in proper condition is extremely uncalled for, as there might be injury or damage to others or property.

I also suspected that it was the ESC's internal BEC being overloaded hence it shut down. Very unlikely that there was any glitching since there wasn't any glitches throughout the flight.

i did warn you about align's electronics. Time to change to a quark, not just for performance, but for safety.

did it free fall or simply just lost control?
