made 2nd flight today with the F450 frame & Naza, seems very good, nice and stable but the control seems a bit soft, here are the gain settings. reducing the yaw gain to 110 seems to have cured the "vertical drift during rotation" issue I had on the 1st flight.

    Basic gain 130 130 110 130
    Attitude gain 130 130

I want to fine tune it further but can anyone help me understand a bit more about the difference between basic gain & attitude gain. I like to know what I'm doing before adjusting things too much.

Hi Kaon, take a look at this TMF see this warwarthox showing frisbee flyingboard, very good board cheaper some more but altitude hold tho but if you only do fun fly then who need baro imo .

          Problems With Naza Controller

Hello fellow quardians, just retro fitted my quad with the Naza contoller. When throttling up the quad tilts towards the right. Corrected with aileron compensation but just flipped over. Can someone gives me some directions. Motor rotation is correct, flying X mode. Motor positions are also checked. Connections doubled checked. Am I missing something here ? tks

Make sure to check also the propeller, thrust point downward. I sound simple but it does happen. Check Trims on your TX preferably you have 0 trims, even if you adjust a bit in flight it is suggested to re-calibrate with 0 trims for next flight. Highly unlike that Naza is the issue unless FC is spoil.

Hi Trex600, Truckbasher has good advice, set all your tx trims to "0" and then check them in the Naza Assistant software. when all the sticks are in their centre positions the markers in the Assistant software should all be in the centre and be green colour. you can check this by moving the sticks on the tx and each marker should move in the corresponding direction. you can also use this to check your stick end points, they should be 0% to 100% with normal expo in your tx. you can run the calibration to set / re-set the settings.
Your stick settings can't be too far out as the motors wouldn't arm with the CSC (control stick command) if they are not centered (not including the throttle).
Check your motor direction & the prop direction, it is very easy to get them mixed up.
I hope all goes well, the Naza is a really good controller and makes flying a quad very nice.

Nice light mod...this will definitely show which is which

Me personally I like how fyetech X4 is, blue on 2 arms at the back and red/green in front like navigation lights. I miss my X4

yeah, I miss my Fytech Y6, it was a cool multirotor, but I did find with all the different coloured lights, red, green, blue on the arms and the white flashing light underneath it can become just a big ball of light especially night flying. That's how I crashed mine, I got disorientated with all the lights and didn't know which way it was pointing

its a shame the naza can't do Y6, i'd really like to make another one, I think they are so cool

I really envy you guys, you got places to fly. I miss my old place. At least there is a football field to fly.

Hope you dont mind, here is the photo of your quad's sibling. Just waiting for its motor.
