Yeah i converted my CP2 to DD Tail. See the attached pic.
Erm, you don't need to mod your 4in1 to do so. U only need to do so only when you are replacing the brushed motor to a brushless setup to accomodate the brushless esc.

the dd tail is from gws dragonfly... pips carry them.. i not sure if i saw it in rotor as well.Comment

3s i know, but eric told me that he haven try a DD tail on cp2 cos he scare later the motor will burn out as the voltage is 11.1v on 3s...I fly, then I crash, I fix, then I fly, then I crash, I fix, then the wife ask me to leave.....Comment

My cp2 is running on 2 cells, perfectly all right. I did try 3 cells for DD, it worked...but the tail motor burnt out very fast. The spec of the tail motor (CN12-RLC) is 7.2v according to manufacturer.

You’re able to change to dd without mod the 4 in 1... You may have to change the pinion to 12 teeth if you want to use 2 cells…Comment
