Dear RC sailors,
SPH has reciently launched a new supplement to thier news paper called "East is Best". On the way will be another called 9,10 &11. I recieved the supplement last week and it showcased lifestyles and activities associated with the east coast. Water sports is considered one of the attractions of the East and I was wondering if we could get them to do a story about RC boating.
Many people are ignorrant to our hobby and there may be a large number of new participants who may take it up. This would mean a greater number of people to share in our joy...possibily future official races in the powered as well as non-powered class. In time, if there is a growing demand for products, the hobby stores will have a better stock of parts/ships for us to choose from. I know it is far fetched for now but I guess we have to start somewhere.
My company does a lot of business with SPH and I could link us up with the editorial team.
