Con Artist selling passing off 2nd hand helis on yahoo.com.sg as brand new

Hi,

I purchased a heli from a yahoo auction seller (great_singapore_sale) who claim he imported the heli himself. Being a newbie, it took me quite a quite to figure out what the heli has no lift. -- I thought it was just me.

Only after multiple trips to Fook Hai, then I discovered it was cause by a damaged main rotor and NiHm which are too weak to power the heli. - very silly of me to have not contacted the seller. I just asummed it was factory defect.

But anyway, the last straw came when I discovered he left his old purchase reciepts and NETs transaction records inside the box.

All in all I spent as much as I would have if I went to Fook Hai to buy one from the shop. Well.. I learn a lesson from this. I doubt I will be purchasing and items from yahoo, especially from seller who claim they are selling new stuff.

I am still puzzled how he manage to have that many helis to sell.

i bought a aerohawk from him on feb . The tail motor is not strong at all.After playing a few times ,it die.I call him and ask him that my motor spoilt ,he say he dont know who i am . later he say that motor die is hard to say. Before u buy from him,he is very friendly and answer all your question. After sales, attitude changes greatly. i personally feel that he is not trustworthy and responsible. Beware he has a good mouth

Yap....looks like a "fire and forget" type of salesman. Be very careful with this type of ppl and most of the time, the items they sell are re-condition or rejects from OEM. Some how they get a hand on it.

Mike be look out on this type of ppl and dont let them take advantage of the forum

I bought an aerohawk with stock controller.Price is $350. He say that aerohawk quality is better than dragonfly feda and humming bird. I went to the funfly at lavendar one day and i find that feda and humming brid is of a better quality product.As a newbie i felt that i get conned. A almost new feda stock with futaba 4VF pple sell less than 300.

Sorry about that, sometime new is not equal to good! Anyway nothing can be done about it except try to improve your heli perfromance through all the known mods we have done on the feda and Hummingbird. I believe they are very simular, and ppl here are (specially daddy Mike ) will be more than happy to help out. So dont get too disappointed, as there is always this type of ppl around .....so just enjoy the hobby and forget about him....who know you may learn more on the mod thanks to the FXXX type heli just thick positive

Loyn, U think it's a great idea to start some kind of a MOD heli thing for ( a small fee of purchasing the little stuff?? I was pondering about it.... There's actually pple who can't get the mods to work for them....... wat about it? I know u and joe can...... I'll try my best during the hols.... It's really to show that with proper work, the micros actually fly sweetly indoor....

Can I suggest whoever want to get a micro heli, if it is used, request members here to help take a look or try out. I am sure someone is willingly to help.....

I have believe he actually imported, and it was a factory defect until I saw the Singapore Hobbies receipt and those NETs records.

Just wonder why no one else except me gave him a negative rating.. the way he is going.. just more folks are going to get ripped off by him.

Hmmmm.......2 ways to look at this, either the feda is so good that it become a perfect trainer or it is so FXXX type that if you can fly it you can fly anything else...but from my experience it is the first reason why we select feda.
