name/logo for boat???(real 1)

getting new boat, laser SB3
thing is i have low creativity level . so wondering if you guys have any good and original ideas for a name and/or logo?

mods: please move this thread if u feel like it, i just figured 'boats' would be apropriate home for it

dad does the paperwork, we need to get it checked every year or so though and we have to get a license number or something up on the sails so y gues is, yeah

I think its very personal thing to name a boat. The last time i named a boat I named it "Smooch". Actually it was the "significant other" that named her.

hi yobernator .

i didnt know you were a sailor in real life ! when i was in primary school, my eca was sailing and the boats were those optimist fleet class.. smaller than the laser class .

now since secondary school and after graduatiing from sec school, nothing to do.. was wondering if its possible to learn sailing again.

Oh yah.. my sail was 417 last time.. SIN 417 .. used to call her Padme Milady . i dont know how i got the name but somehow i loved it . then , star wars came out and they started padme .. and Milady (short for my lady) lolz.

for registering boats YES ! you have to.. you gotta register boats

yeah, i've been sailing since 7 years old, we have a laser classic and laser SB3 now, damn nice boat, got 9.48 knots with main and jib last tues, winds wern't that gd. also did first race with the sb3 but got 6th, good start and all but the handicaps were totally screwed up do we had to give 40+minutes to some 25 tonne 2 master every 100 minutes we sailed we crossed line 2nd after platu 25

anyways, now 14 and got invited for both hobart and the lord howe race this year on VOLVO 60, damn pissed have to be 18 because class 1 race

u can take lessons at raffles marina or national sailing club, ps: i also start in optimist, my primary school teacher was sailing fanatic, so he tought me every friday, until i get better than him when i was about 12. i start beating him in all the races i think can also do lessons at changi sailing club

haha.. was from NSC years ago... i wonder if Mr Koh is still around.. and Mr Rahman... oh well..

Optimist boat.. lolz.. had memories... almost lost my life during a storm cause was rescuing my friend who was already too close to jetty. ended up sinking his boat and i had a bleeding head when the boom struck me while tacking. woo... salt water with wounds.. OUCH!!!!

shud be able to sail laser then
if you present ur student pass at past fresca seasport center on eastcoast i think it was 25 dollar per hour for renting laser not sure if they give classes though
