esc cutoff?

just put a himax 2015 4200 and cc p10 on my feda.

power is good, motor just slightly warm after 10+ mins of flight. running off a kokam 1500 2s. tail is on a ips and ics 50.

problem - while flying power to main rotor suddenly cutoff! in panic, i jam throttle up and as i am usually at least 3 feet height, i managed to regain power and avoid crash.

i have tried 10,9 and 8 tooth. still same problem. i tried timing the flight before power cut off but it seems to be intermittent and non-consistent.

any ideas?

Problem Solved!

Out of frustration, I rebuild my feda. replaced the tail esc to a ics 300 (i only have that handy) and voila! no more cutoff! don't ask me why/how... all I know is my last flight of about 14mins was flawless performance from the motors.

btw, do your servos have slight glitching? Mine had and I used those aquarium air tubes to wrap around my servo, esc wires and now not the slightest glitch can be found. can you guys try that out and see if it works? or did my rebuild cured it????

well waycool, is yr P10 is the micro version? Maybe try touching the esc, it could be too hot..... mount at places when its away fr the motor and maybe some ventilation if possible. I am using Berg rx on my hornet...did a stupid mistake......mount the esc back to back with the rx Experience sudden throttle giltches

jus to check can 35A esc run with scorpion hk2221-6? im using a original motor come with the kit.

i oso have a motor cut off when fly at 2-3storey high. luckly no crash but tis happen 2nd time, the at first is the motor wire problem n have get it repair but tis time come again

U would have to determine the kind of cut off. Is it-

1) thermal cut???
2) over amp cut???
3) internal bec cut???
4) motor short-circuit cut???

U running any external bec???

Ensure that ur motor and esc wires are properly soldered to the connectors.

bro tis is the problem i face the first time but have been resoldered by the shop... mayb is the same problem? will soldered again. but is there other reason beside tis bro?

35a is not enuff for the -6.. unless it is a cc35..(but even that is just barely enuff)

Sorry, I have not familiar with scorpion esc so I can only give u general advise. Check the esc manual again.
