Yesterday everning, me and my friend was practising our piloting skills on Heli at Yishun Central (In front of NTUC Income). It was fun. We stop early due to my friend's HBird tail rotor came off and my Hornet II landing skids (Right side, horizontal plastic) got lost. I learn my mistake is that since the landing skids is soo easily to came off, it should painted white or bright color.
My landing skids (right) got lost in a very short grassy land. It is late in the 7:30pm but even with street/park lamp post and torch light and still can't find it.
So, I think it may be a good idea to paint your landing skids with bright color or at least CA it very tight.
Yesterday nite I manage to create my own Horizontal Landing Skids using Aluminium tubing. No picture right now and I do not know how well it perform yet. Well let u all know after some flight and crash landing test.
