                Hi Ammo,

Yep. It's a GWS EDF50. Thanks for the compliments. It climbs fine, but I still prefer flying it at the slope, unpowered. It's possible to fly with the EDF, just don't expect too much. The climb this plane is like a Slow Stick on an EPS100.

like, is there even a climb for slow stick? come to think of it, its like breaking the distinction between glider and plane huh.

but it does look like a nice relaxed bird for a good thermal or upwind day

For more thrust, u can use a foam starbucks cup & cut away the bottom to act as a 'afterburner'. It does increase the thrust by 10% or more... was told by ER69 this method works.

Hee hee... Crabby, you sure have know a lot more since we last met... when was that, a year ago ?! Thx for the tip, but $5 for an extra 10%... hm, might be my excuse for a coffee.

Glenn, it's a great glider on the slope. Running it on EDF isn't that great as compared to flying it on the slope, where there are wonderful updrafts and thermals! Of course the SS can climb. It's just that the climb rate apparently drops the higher you go.

Hahah of course after so many crashes...I've learnt alot... infact my dream of flying a VIP is coming true. I have a glider which is similiar to that of VIP design has been air-borned & the speed was as fast as the VIP...very much cheaper too so...hmmm... will post up the picture next.
