AE RC18T motor and battery pack.

Hi!

Anyone know where to get a motor (280 or 370) as well as a 1100/1200 mAh, 6/7-cell battery pack for this truck?

I went to Winnie's place and she showed me 5 cell 1150/1200 battery pack but not sure if she has 6/7 cell packs.

She also has the Orion small motor for my Leo-X but not sure that's same size as the one you want. I didn't buy so cannot comment on the specs as I still haven't koyak my stock motor yet....

I know Winnie got 5-cell, but that's only 6V. Anyway, I ordered a 1200mAh 6-cell from ******. But they got no motor. Looking for Reedy Mini-max (280 motor). May have to get from Tower.

No problem...why don't you consider building your own pack

Just remember the motor Winnie has is Orion Baja Mini for the Mini-T. Not sure it's good or not ....

I have been thinking of building my own batt packs...but the thought of soldering....

Get those come with the connector welded then you just need to solder on the connector not the battery.... sound easy in theory ...right..hhahhaha

I got the battery but I haven't tried yet

Btw, I also bought the Ex15 Pro from Winnie last weekend...

Got lah....but probably not as powerful as Mini-Max.

Went down today. But decided to wait for my brushless and batteries.

I think I will try soldering. I asked her to get her 'hammerhead' soldering iron for me. See how, lah.

Can use normal soldering technique. Just use the copper soldering wick and solder 2 cells side by side. After that, just flip one cell on top of ther other and you'll get a top-down configuration.

An easier way is to solder the cells side by side.

This is the reason why my 18T is sitting around doing nothing....it's waiting for the Mamba 6800!
