Anyone wants to order some Kan650s with me?

Hi i'm going to be ordering some Kan/CBP 650mah 2/3AAs from CBP.

Cant get them locally and they are much better than sanyo AAA 700mah packs, claimed 10Amp cont ,15 amp surge

Seem to be the perfect conventional cells for Hornet 2s whos owners arent going to buy brushless motors or good brushed escs that can take 3s lithiums ( me )

I think the cells used in the making of the duzi.com 3d hornet videos would be cells like these not sure.

So askign around if anyone wants to order with me as it's pretty cheap.
8 of these cells only cost 10USD.Shipping is something like 1.50USD a pack.

Dude, wad are the flight times u estimate with these cells? I dun mind trying.
My ics400 says it can take up to 10 cells, how many s (lithium) is that?

i think 5 minutes will be a reasonable expectation.
i got 4.30 with my hornet with the much less capable sanyo 700mah AAAs....


The ics400 takes 10 cells? that's surprising
10 cell's 12volts so 3s is ok
man i'd buy one if that's the case and i'll be able to use my 3s lithium

do check again thoguh, as my ics 400 says 3-8 only

Yup.. the back of the card says "RATE (FOR 6-10 CELLS)" Its the ics 400H version, urs?

For the first time since i bought it i managed to fly my hornet when the sun was still up.After getting used to the hornet a bit more:

2S etec pack ( now fixed ) can give me about 7:30 of very good flying around.

7 cell feda pack gives 4 minutes

8 cell sanyo 700mah ( consumer cells ) gives me a nice 5 minutes

The voltage drop after about 550mah is to great to keep things flying so i'm sure the Kans will deliver even better duration and punch.
