Sensitivity of Cyclic (HB/DF) changes on the Swash Plate

    Hi all

I believe that majority of DF/HB owner connect their Link Rod (between swash plate and Outer Control Plate) at the smaller/shorter lenght of swash plate ball right?

If so and u want to increase your cyclic sensitivity, u can try connect your Link Rod to the longer side of the swash plate ball. By doing so, your cyclic movement amplified and u have more sensitive movement on the flybar.

Here is the picture of swash plate:

great! i never noticed that. i was helping a friend with his feda today, wonder how come the response so suck. even had full negative exponential. will try this tmr. btw, mike, thanks for your help! the heli's motors run fine now. and the brushless...@&%%$

Full -ve on the expo would actually make the stick movements around the centre result in lesser throw on the servos. If u want the sticks to be more sensitive, u should key in +ve expo.

The reason of switching to longer ball will make your cyclic more sensitive is because small movement in servo are amplify (just like Gear Ratio) into bigger movement on the Outer Control Plate....resulting in bigger movement on the flybar.
