Converting a Airfix model into RC?

I just saw an Aircraft carrier model in the LHS here (Sweden). The model size is 668mm and costs around 60 SGD. Is this cheap? Can it be converted into an RC model?

Surely can convert to rc. At 668mm, it would be very handfull to do it scale.

Better make sure it is not a waterline model, but full hull. Waterline model cant sail.

There is a lot of china product on the market that come design with motor. This will be much easier to convert and they are at 1/350 scale , big enough for RC but not too big for transportation. They have carrier and battleship from WWII.
