i tried to use a 8.4 volt battery pack to supply my smaller CPU fan( a brushless motor) but nothing work

the fan power supply is 12V .so i use a transformer 12v . did not use any battery. i think cpu fan is 5v right?

transformer is a step down device. our power supply is 240AC. transformer bring down the voltage from 240ac to 12V dc
