TT01 and TL01 are entirely different. i dont think any of the parts are inter-changeable. U might want to try hunting for a TL01 chassis at Stargek. alternatively, get someone to fabricate the chassis from aluminum.

never buy an old chassis (ie TL01) becoz u wont be able to get spare parts for it.

regarding your batt, u might want to get new batts with higher capacity. i presume yours should be around 1600 or 1800mAh. everyone else is using at least 3000mAh and above for longer play-time. u might also want to consider getting a better batt charger becoz it will ensure your batt are well taken care of (ie. prolong batt life).

will it burn the engine ?

for batteries, the higher the better.
high capacity batteries will not burn the motor or esc.
lipo is short for Lithium Polymer, which is a more advanced type of batt compared to NiMh (Nickel Metal Hydride).

however, u will need to take some cautionary steps while using lipo batts as they are more volatile in nature. u can do a google on lipo batts for more info.

                oic,thanks alot for the explaination...
dont think will wants to fabricate it,might as well go get a TT01 right ? haha

btw,one of my batt is spoil i think, cos i charge then still like no power...is it possible to open up then go to find the batt n replace it(replace with those higher capacity wan) ? lol...hope will be cheaper...

its highly possible that one or more of your batt cells are dead (cant store anymore charge). you can replace the dead cell with a fresh one but it must be of the same capacity as the other cells ie. 1600mAh with 1600mAh.

some high-end chargers are able to charge and discharge individual cells and hence prolonging the life span of the entire pack.

however, i'd suggest u get a new battery pack of higher capacity as it is not worth it to salvage the 1600mAh pack.

what i mean is theres 6 pieces of batt inside the whole pack right ?
can i replace all with higher cap batt ?

isnt that as good as getting a brand new set of batteries? those batts are factory-matched.

just wondering whether is it able to DIY so maybe it will be cheaper than getting a new pack...

all the pro-tourers DIY their own battery packs by soldering individual cells together.

i dont think there is much price difference between ready-packs and DIY packs.

i'm not sure about that, bro. all i know is that some of the bros in this hobby fabricate parts themselves. u might want to try approaching your local hardware shop. cheers!
