    lol.... Pressured Bottle Rocket

lol… thanks to my poisonous friend (Linhai aka Linhai) I bought this Bottle Rocket kit last week and I got this built up during my free time.
At first glance, I notice the quality of the plastic used as it’s a Korean kit by Academy Hobby.

Instructions were all in Korean so I just briefly followed the pics. Got the Parts all lay out and the building begins… I started with the launch platform. The plastics were thick and definitely strong.

The parts are very precise and they snap on nicely. They even made the clicks on the platform for adjustment and rotation. It has 30degree to left and 30 degree to right. In total there is 60 degree variation on rotation. Finally mount together with a sturdy center bolt.

There on, I proceed with the firing nozzle. I got the parts fitted it together with a couple of screws and some lock nut. Somehow, I felt the evilness of the nozzle as it looked overly strong to me.

Here’s the completed Launch Platform. Launching angle varies from 90 degree vertical to 35 degree. Moving on to assemble the rocket fuse… As according to instruction, cut apart a cylinder into 3 parts. Then, double side tape and tape the fins to the body.

Now… I got to cut up 1 of the 2 bottles to make the compartment for the parachute. Slowly I assemble them together… It’s beginning to look like a rocket.

Thou very tempted to try blast it off. I proceeded with the chute.
Cut the strings to given length and tape them to the chute. Then… attach the parachute to the rocket body.

Here’s the completed kit. Looks pretty evil… I am going to try shooting a 500ml bottle for a trail. The original is a 1.5l. Will try to load video if I get to try it out.

SGD59.90 after discount... Personally, i feel that the launch pad is already worth the $$$. With that, think can come up with alot of funny sh1t. Pressure launch glider/plane etc etc... hahaha, they are already in my mind. Anyway... i tried my DIY 500ml bottle rocket. Can go up to ard 10-12 story high. Cant imagine the 1.5l ones...

Raven, that looks like fun. Where are you blasting it off from?
Stop looking for a gyro in my plane, they are all in the head.
