Tamiya Spray Paint

Sorry for this silly question, what is the different between Tamiya spray paint and any other (sold in DIY store) spray paint?

The grain, roughness and finish. Those tamiya for car covers you spray on inside and the finish will be very fine, but malt on the inside, but outside is smooth and nice because of the plastic of the cover.

Those diy spray usually have glossy finish and might crack and peel off.

Most importantly, every time you smell the tamiya spray, you feel happy and excited because it means you either got a new kit or new cover

sometimes is because you crashed so bad you need to new canopy. haha

Most importantly, plastic model paints are PLASTIC-SAFE. Use the wrong paint and kiss ur model goodbye Can literally c it melt away. There are also different types of model paint, lacquer, enamel, water-based. RC bodies usually take Tamiya polycarbonate paints. They are supposed to be elastic and wont crack during crashes... Do correct me if Im wrong

Actually, u can use DIY spray.. but not the glossy one. the dull, flat or matt colour... i use dull black for my car.... i spray the inner n outer parts of the shell... i actually dont like the orange colour... it came out quite good actually... if i got the time, i will post the photo some other days... thanks
