where did you all go after the kites invaded our ff?

We have shifted to the church field, next to the swimming complex. No one jogging there and more private for us. Sun also shine in the correct direction so no glaring in the eyes now and the wind there are more calm compared to the big kite field. I thought you have my hp number?

Timing is still the same, starts around 5.30pm daily and ends when the sky gets dark. Everybody are welcome there, just shout out my name will do..

i wonder if sengkang got any place to fly nitro. you guys know any place around that area?

All of us are into electric, so far no complain. As for nitro, think it might be a bit too noisy as there are some HDB blocks across the road. The two big fields where the kites are flying will be more suitable for nitro at the far end near the LRT track, beside the highway and quite a distance from the HDB blocks. We saw someone flown a nitro there before.

I agree with PhantomGT on the noise issue. It's too near the HDB flats and church, the noise will resonate.

Electrics, plane and heli, have been the dominant type in SK.

As to the big field, currently too many kite flyers.

Sidetrack: There is a very fast Funjet I saw amongst that community, powerful.

Kites will be gone in a month or two after the windy season is over so we can enjoy over there again..

Hi guys! I am one of the stuntkite flyers in Sengakang field. So sry to snatched the place with all. Didnt mean it... But to fly there, it is best b4 3pm or in the late morning as we, kite flyer flies after 3pm and to 7plus. During northeast monsoon period, best not to fly at the field cos is full of single line kites(high in the sky). Even i had to keep my dual and quad line kite if not will cut their lines! But after or b4 northeast mosoon, best to fly b4 3pm or in the late morning!
