      hi,
      CC P10 (10A - 15A)? I could only provide Jeti Esc Advance 8-3P to 18-3P. Is 8 - 10A okay with u? Or u prefer 18 - 2OA?

Sometimes, it is good to get an ESC that could take higher current if weight is not a great issue to u. Even if wt is an issue, u could also try to bring down weight thru another means like getting a lighter lipoly for example.

When u upgrade to a stronger motor that require higher Amps later, u would realise that u might need an ESC with higher Amps. And if yr current ESC could handle higher Amps then u don't have to spend another $100 to get another. It is an expensive hobby, plan ahead and u could save a lot of money.

CC ESCs are lighter. Jeti ESCs are also good. I could provide more info on Jeti ESCs if u r interested

      Cheers,
      I have seen them all.

        Hi all

I have CC PHX-10 and PHX-25. The different between these 2 in terms of weight is 6g (phx-10) and 16g.

If you going to use in Dragonfly/Hummingbird/Hornet or anything with that size, I recommend u to go for Brushless motor like Himax 2015-4100 or anything equivalent. If you go for Himax 2015-4100, then PHX-10 will do.

U might also get PHX-25 with extra weight but u can use it for testing purpose (like developing your own brushless motor).

          hi,
          Jeti Advance 08-3P is 9g. 18-3P is 21g. 3g and 5g difference compared with Phx 10 and 25.

What is the price of Phx 10 and Phx 25 at LHS?

Blueprints, r u getting a Kokam or Etech lipoly? What is the difference in weight?

          Cheers,

            Hi mack

I think Jet Hobby sells PHX-10 at S$110. Jet hobby I think they do not have PHX-25 (Sold out long time ago). I think the price of PHX-25 is about S$30 to S$40 different.

What is the discharge of your kokam 1500mAh 2S pack? 10 - 15C? The weight of your kokam 1500mAh 2S pack is at least 79g for a 2S pack with lower discharge cells.

Your 2S pack would give you 7.4V on average. It depends on the brushless motor that you are getting. AXI 2208/20 would give you 1,880 RPM/V. That means that you could get 13,912 RPM on average from your 2S pack. What heli are you using them on? Would this be sufficient for your heli? Could someone help him on this?

                    Jeti Esc Advance 08-3P (8 - 10A) is $92
                    Jeti Esc Advance 18-3P (18 - 22A) is $115

                    Cheers,

Please take note, the Jeit ESC may not contain as much control and program feacture as that of a CC P-10 even those they are of the same amp rating. For details refer to aircraft world product data sheet. The extra functions in CC P-10 may give it an edge over Jeit especially for out runner CD-rom motor user. Don't just look at the price but the function of what you are looking for.

                          Hope this can help

                            Agree!

Don't forget how good the CC service is. Just send an email with your address and they will send a replacement to u first before u send defective back to them!
