Hi! There are couple of good pilot on weekdays. The pilot will normally come around 1700hrs or earlier during all weekdays, Most of them are flying mode 1. ( If by 1730hrs you dun see anybody, then they are really busy or either it is going to rain etc...) On Weekend, you can see even more flyer starting to come at around 1030hrs onward until the late afternoon. On sunday afternoon, you can meet up with some good heli pilot also with some very good 3D demo ( I would say the skill is quite close to Alan Szabo.....). ALL pilot are all very very friendly and very technical in approaching problem with their flying machine.

If you are newbies, ask them what are the field rules and regulation before take off...such as frequency check and also wind condition etc.....

They are coming at around 0800hrs onward tomorrow if you are interested to join them.

This currently is my regular flying place.. been there a few times during the CNY holidays.. so far the people I met there are quite nice.. very friendly atmosphere.

There are some Nitro planes there and fortunately no serious case of people complaining yet.. however we do appreciate that those Nitro planes not to fly overheads of people flying from the opposite side of the field.

We the beginners need to fly from the other side of the field bcos:
              1. lighting conditions... from where the cars are parked, sun shining into eyes directly
              2. landing strip.. from the other side of field, 50% of the track are a lot less used by joggers (only occasionally)

Of course flying from the other side means we are all exposed to the scorching sun, but we the beginner's bo pian.. have to be considerate and not put any of those joggers to any risks due to our not-so-good flying and landing skills.

So we appreciate if those flying from the where the cars are parked.. pls dun "bully" us by flying overhead us.. we have weak hearts!

Overall, I would still say the group at Woodlands is great.. flyers from both groups could see each other and often walk over to say hello and asked about Freq as well..

When attempting for landing, I believe the flyer over another side will understand. Just that when it make a turn from another flyer overhead think it rude and did not consider to others. Imagine if there is a glitches or anything wrong with your plane.

As the field are big enough, hope the flyer fly next to the road will consider and try to fly another area to make the turn. Thanks!

i think its one of the 'flight routes' for the pilots to fly along. i relay the message to fly on the other side then. cheers.

From 5 - 6pm, I believe there seldom flyer who fly inside there as the sun will blind their eyes easily. Think it ok to fly outside that near the roadside if fly in the evening.
