wat is the type of difficulties u encountered?Originally posted by BlackHawkHi guys, i would like to know what mode are you guys using to fly your helicopter. I'm a newbie and currently using mode 1, but i find it difficulties flying helicopter using mode 1.
Coz i'm also using mode 1, n i've only flown a mode 2 for once, not much difficulties but is a matter of training time to get used to it. So i'm curious abt the difficulties that u encountered.
Coz I personally think that some ppl get used to mode 1 faster n some ppl get used to mode 2 faster, all depends on individuals ba.
I may be wrong, wat do u guys think?

I've been flying mode 1 airplane for about 4 years and i have recently switched to heli. So, i tried flying a simulator heli using mode 1 and i tend to alieron my heli instead of using both rudder and alieron which makes the heli very wobby. Maybe thats because i'm used to square direction instead of rounded direction.Originally posted by jansonfinnwat is the type of difficulties u encountered?

Agreed. Maybe i need to brush up my heli skills more. Please pardon me, but i find mode 1 is easier for flying aircraft whereas mode 2 is suitable for flying heli.Originally posted by helirulztry both. See which one you like better and stick with that.
if you're not willing to try both then i suggest you stick with what you're using. Its quite a pain having to re-learn how to fly again.
Ps, i'm using a Futaba FF7. So is there a function for me to save mode 1 settings in memory 1 and mode 2 settings in memory 2? Or do i have to switch the modes externally?

I'm ok with mode 2 heli...But mode 2 plane i guess i will need some training again...Originally posted by HZMNo problem, it took me a while search the forum before getting those result.
If I given a new lease of life, I will go with Mode 2 .... 3D Flyer majority Mode 2 right?
