Little Wee Nip for this X'mas

    Ok...70cm is not that little.....

Some time ago i posted a link about this uni-rig boat called Wee Nip, seems like not many members are interested in it... ...I think it is an interesting design tho...variable mast position, removable keel/bulb...n the name Wee Nip just sounds right for this X'mas..

With Le Bluni (was Blue Magic) already in water, my yard is empty....can't wait to build this one...

Here's the link again, for those who may have missed it the last time.

BTW this boat is designed by Graham Bantock of SAILSetc, here's a short bio about him.

Maybe u should built a few of these and lelong it on the web - to start a class going. How?

X34, i wish i could too...but frankly i think not many people r interested in sailboat here ....

This is the first boat i built with removable keel....it's trickly at least to me to get the keel, the watertight housing inside the hull and the lock nut all line up vertical. If i do well in this one, the next project should either b a US One Meter or IOM size boat.

I think that is a great idea!!

Stuka, sorry i haven't been following up with the voyager recommendation ... mostly time constraint with all these new heli distractions, and not wanting to start something new without knowing that i'd be able to followthrough properly.

Still ... ur boats r real beauties and that yard of urs can only take so many dry dockings no
