Removal of X1 Table

hi all, wanna know if its safe to completely unscrew the table from my X1 mill. Wanna drill some holes for my caliper mod.

To mike, this is the boy that bought your last X1 mill.

Hi Jack,

Do not remove the entire table if possible, u will had a hard time adjusting the gib strip since you just started off. I drill the table using a hand drill for the scale mod

okok, hope it isn't too hard for my little drill to go through. Thanks for the help though. One more thing Mike, i need to get some stuff from you namely 3mm end mills. Whats the best way for me to get it from you. do you do postage?
