Ever wonder what happens when you reach the speed limit of certain hull designs on windy days?
Here's a couple of vids showing a cat and a deep vee at speed earlier today at PP...
The first is Eric's OS46 VX-M powered Cat with a Robbe quiet tuned pipe (it is so quiet it sounds like a brushless ep!)... wait till the end of the vid to see the triple forward sommersault
(39 Mb file) (BTW, that's my 26cc Arrow Shark gas boat doing her first engine break-in being viciously overtaken by Eric's Cat
... revenge vid will be posted after I've run-in the engine
)
The second is Esmond's exotic (i.e. expensive
) Triton BL doing a pirouette
(5 Mb file)

Was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the new motor fired up... if her flex cable wasn't constantly slipping at the collet, the Shark could have been running all day
