Stunt Drivers @ PP (Vid Links)

Ever wonder what happens when you reach the speed limit of certain hull designs on windy days?

Here's a couple of vids showing a cat and a deep vee at speed earlier today at PP...

The first is Eric's OS46 VX-M powered Cat with a Robbe quiet tuned pipe (it is so quiet it sounds like a brushless ep!)... wait till the end of the vid to see the triple forward sommersault (39 Mb file) (BTW, that's my 26cc Arrow Shark gas boat doing her first engine break-in being viciously overtaken by Eric's Cat ... revenge vid will be posted after I've run-in the engine )

The second is Esmond's exotic (i.e. expensive ) Triton BL doing a pirouette (5 Mb file)

If in doubt - add more horsepower!

No worries Ez. Thanks for your help in tuning my gas engine today Was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the new motor fired up... if her flex cable wasn't constantly slipping at the collet, the Shark could have been running all day

Yo bud, your Shark aka Seducer is looking real good in the water. Tracks real well and can see its raring to go

I didnt expect the cat to blow out like that. Just like a real boat! Hope the driver survived

Yep, the Shark did ok. A couple of minor kinks to sort out over the next week or two.

Your BL Yamaha is a screamer... handles the rough water very well

Yes, that OS engine and pipe combo is a gem. You tempted to get wet?
