Hi, Math Hobby link did have a few of them OB unit. A gentelman from our Club member bought 2 of the OB unit. The last 2 set. If you're really keen to get them you could order them in. I'm sorry if I'm not much of help. Later...

      Nitro OB

Math, if you want a TT 3.5cc OB, you can try Josh at RC Boyz. His email is josh@rcboyz.com Not sure if he has any more of them because it's been taken off his ebay shop listing (I may have bought the last one!!).

Tower Hobbies has the OS 21 XM OB, but its USD300 plus shipping

My TT OB was USD189 plus USD28 shipping.

You can also keep an eye out for new K&B OBs on ebay. A new one of these sold for USD175 earlier this week and the seller was willing to ship worldwide.

      Good luck
If in doubt - add more horsepower!

K&B looks expensive leh.... I was thinking of having an electric outboard motor. I dun want to get stuck in the middle of the pond.

Looks like the Graupner GTX-800 Outboard with Graupner 820bb Turbo Race Motor is more of an equivalent since it is designed with the same mounting holes as a OS MAX 21 outboard in mind. U have to factor in the 16-24cells as well .

Can i find a design of a catamaran equiped with OB? Actually, i am more interested in the stability of the catamaran compared to the deep v. I chose tunnel hull because it is easy to build considering the rudder and power system come together(lesser holes on the hull) and tunnel hulls are fast.....
I would build one catamaran of i had the plans or i understood more about the power system used.

Hi, Math I'll go with a V-hull. Much easily set. But do get the right OB unit for your hull. Aquacraft have a unit you might one to consider.
