There's been a Twinstorm running at Punggol Pond in the last few Sundays between 2 and 5 pm. She's quite quick and turns very well. Lot's of potential for hop-ups as well. Should go down and check it out
If in doubt - add more horsepower!

You can replace the twin 550 motors with hot buggy motors... or even go brushless!! May have to upgrade the factory esc depending on the motor used.

Because very few boat parts are avail in Singapore, you'll have to import propellers, trim tabs, turn fins yourself from online vendors like Offshore Electrics and those on ebay. I would say that most of the crew running their boats in PP are all familiar with these vendors because that's where we have to go most of the time.

            Hi wtp,
No sure what you need to know, but this is what we did: Stock motor as it is. We change the prop ( bigger dia slightly) more ( slightly pitch also). We run it with 3600 Sanyo ni-mh 12 cells with Same Stock ESC. Do monitor the total Voltage when battery fully charge.! With just this simple upgrade this boat is ready to race. This boat is awesome! a Great boat to start with!. We will run her this Sunday 2 - 5pm, See it, don't just take my words for it.! Later, Ezzy.
