Look more like a toy to me. Should be OK if you just want to just there to relax and see the boat moving slowly.

IMO, the fastest 'toy' boat is the Lee Victory.

Turning will be slow coz it's done by switching one motor off.

A similar one will be NQD High Wind. In fact, I think they are the same boat with different branding. You should be able to get this one from Mustafa. Big and cheap. Ard $70, if I can remember correctly.

Incidentally, the Lee Victory was my first rc boat! You will not be dissappointed with it's straight line speed.

    Cheers!

For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.

Think the stock battery lasts only 10 mins. I usually bring 4 fully charged batts so that I have some meaningful time playing my boat.

Er....one thing leads to another.....and I ended up with a few boats. This rc thing is certainly a wallet sapping hobby.

In terms of battery, boat has wider options than car as it's not limited by space, usually. However, most EP off-the-shelf boats are powered by the normal sub-C 6-cell packs. So you can use your GP 3300mAh packs most of the times.

BTW, the Lee Victory and NQD boat above uses the standard 6-cell packs.
