    my feda suxxxx...

    argh my feda cannot fly!!!

dumped a big motor inside... speed 400 i think.. 10 teeth pinion. running on 2s lipos.

and it cant fly higher then 20cm!!! help~~~

can somebody tell me when can i get the IPS 50 esc? Rotor has ran out of them!! not the mention the IPS motor and the direct drive tail blade too

Try using a larger pinion. The speed 400 has a lower rpm/volt than the speed 300.

Why is there a need for speed 400 on the FEDA? GWS 370 got tons of juice for it. My preference for tail is B2C.

U mean it wont lift off in stock condition?

If you insist on IPS, think you can try either "That Hobby Shop" or "Champion Hobby" check out address details at link below the main forum.

Depends if the speed 400's shaft size is 2 mm or not.

Mike when you refer to the "stock motor" are you talking about the 280 or stock 300

My main motor just die yesterday so put in my new spare 370 (from rotor) motor without any configuration. However, there is a significant drip in power over the old motor. It can only hover inch from the ground at full speed (newly charged lipo) So I increase the pinion to 10T (original 8T), But no goal, it only hover slight higher than before.

Do you have any idea and dose the Graupner speed 300 really much better than the stock 300 in term of life spend and KV? If that is the case I may get one too.

Hmmm......may be a sign tell me time to go into CD-rom motor

Mike your assistant is much appreciated.

I wasnt very sure the size of the stock motor that comes w the FEDA....mine die after 2 days of flight ( I clocked abt 6 packs per day ...... )

Talking abt GWS370, in the past, it seems like there is 3 diff kind, 6.0V, 7.2V and 8.4V......think I bought the one w 8.4V...I bought 2 to stock up knowing rotor always take sometime to replenish...sold one to Bon....think thats the one in his FEDA now...shld be quite lasting w plenty power...

Cant tell the rating of those sold at champion...they don seems to have any rating.......

Power for Graupner speed 300 should be equivalent GWS 370....maybe gonna check Fit out....... think he tried b4...
