I have a HobbyKing Gondola and a Hobbyking foil. My gondola weights 1.5kg with battery. After I attach the foil to the gondola, and with a quick jerk, i am able to get the foil up vertically(Although it does not stay up for more than a second).
My method of launch is through hand launch. I rev up the motor a little and swing the gondola up in a semi circular motion.Once I let go, the gondola falls like a rock. Have tested this a few times and the results are the same.
Any advice I can get from people who managed to get it flying? Should I try a rolling takeoff from the ground instead? Any Bro here plays paragliders here that maybe I can have some advice or watch you guys fly for some guidance? Please help... thanks.
