sorry, according to the notes above. aircraft below 5kg are allowed to fly. But why is it for RC heli only up to 450 size? 500 or 550 electric heli will also fall below 5kg..

can help to clarify why this special restriction?

A copy of constitution should be available for reference. Will check tomorrow. Now we are just registering founding members. Just circle founding members or cancel other types of members. If you left it blank, i'ts fine as well. We will process it accordingly as we know who are the founding members.

The decision was made for the benefit of all the flyers by ensuring safe and sound operation which would then ensure continued flying activities for all to enjoy.

This is a decision that the elected committee has taken a lot of time to decide. Various considerations were taken into account including noise, safety and space constraint. Finally, for a start, we have decided on 450 class as a starting platform.

Please be informed, we have strived for years to get the various authorities to allow flying in the area. Even so, the various authorities, including RSAF, CAAS, MinDEF, HDB, SLA and CC have given us very strict rules and procedures to follow, primarily for safety reasons and noise control. To fulfill all these requirements, the committee needed to set up restrictions.

Rest assured, the best interest of every flyer were taken into consideration before any decision was made.

The same reason applies for Glow engines.

    Please be guided accordingly

Copy of Consittution will be made available today.

To everyone who is joining the club a big welcome! Do take the opportunity to join the ACE Aeromodelling Clug Yahoo Group as well, so that you can gain access to important documents.

    http://asia.groups.yahoo.com/group/a...modellingclub/

Digital copies of the Constitution, Rules and Regulations can be accessed there.

I will be putting up a physical copy of the constitution with supporting documents this afternoon at ACE the Place CC for applicant's reference for the questionnaire.

For the Founding members, try to get the registration process done as we will be issuing temporary membership cards so that we can officially start flying.

    Cheers!

Do try to register as soon as possible!

    Hi Regular Woodlands flyers!

Do take this opportunity to register for membership as soon as possible as we are limiting the initial membership numbers to 100. Kevin and the team has worked very hard over the past few years to get to this stage. I myself is a newcomer to the Woodlands flying scene and I am very impressed with the passion and persistence he has put to get the necessary permissions to make this club official. If any members or future members have any questions, you can msg me.

    Let's give this club wings!
