    Tahmazo query

    Hi Guys,

For those of you using the tahmazo t10, am thinking of investing in it..

Found and unused adapter in my house, it states

    input 220-230v ~ 50/60hz 23w
    o/p : DC12 = 1.1A

Can i mod this to power the tahmazo?

    All the best,
    Nick

Best to have a PS with 8A or more.
For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.

I like to get my electronics stuffs from Sim Lim Tower.

Soldering iron, get GOOP brand, 60W or 80W.

To link the batts, can use desoldering copper ribbon. It's basically a flat copper wire used for desoldering.

You need rosin core solder and solder iron stand too. Some come with a sponge (wet it first) to clean hot soldering iron tip.

For batts, you can always order from Aircraft World, at USD$1.75 a piece. Can ship using the cheap parcel post. From USD$2.50.

For instance, 16 pcs of KAN 1050 shipped to SG via parcel post will cost you $28 + $2.28 shipping, totalling USD$30.28. This is about $50 for 16 pcs batt, shipped.

I went thru most of the thread here and noticed one thing....u need a power supply to power the charger like the T10?

Is there something that can plug into the electric power supply and start the charging?

most field chargers are powered by 12V DC. They are meant to be used outside hence the name 'field'.
Ohh..so u wanna connet ur batt. directly to the power supply???
well u can try but i doubt u will like it.
sending so much current into a battery pack will kill it and might start a fire(WILL start a fire for LiPos)
so...have u changed ur mind??? :na

well....i am not into rc racing or flying plane/heli the whole day....

playing for about 2 hours is good enough. I am running the Venom Mini Giant and 2-3 packs should last me 2 hours

My fault for not knowing how to differentiate field and the indoor charger

Well...will really consider the options since I know a little bit more now

IMHO, those are slow wall charger or sometimes call overnight charger. It will keep charging until you switch the charger off. I think thats the reason why it must be slow, else battery will 'Boom' or will fire

Those wall charger also doesnt tells you how much current it puts in.
