    Another LOCAL lipo fire!!

WARNING: Improper usage of lipos and their chargers can lead to fire!
Here is a very good example that happened few days ago here in SINGAPORE!
This fire was caused by charging a 2s cell on 3s voltage!

Not me la.. i not so it's someone else..
Anyone wanna make a guess who??
He's a regular here.. and LAST person we expect to do this..
And notice something? the porcelain mug was there for a reason..
to charge IN it.. not beside it..

Another lesson learnt, hope all the lipo newbies take precaution and extra
care on the usage of lipos!

What i always do, when i charge my lipo, is to make use of my army boot,
the battery must be put into the army boot
is case any fire, it will protect the fire, and keep it within the boot.

i am talkign abt the old army boot, not the one BMT recuit wearing now. Those are damn good life soldier's boot, no use lah

Yeah.. this is a good lessons to us all..
No offence okies bro? using ur "accident" to let others learn..
Even lao jiao like him also can have accidents like this happen..
Let alone newbies to RC, so all please be careful when using ur lipos n chargers!

As far as i know from what he told me..

It was early in the morning like at 7am..
He was juz topping up a 2s pack that was charged already..
Set wrong voltage and charged at 3s voltage..
The fire probably occured 30-40mins after he started charging..
He was complacent and never put the lipo into the porcelain mug..

                            Fly responsibly, charge safely!
Hey.. that seems like a good motto for DH!

Best charge 2S and 3S with specific charger, so no need to change the setting which lead to unnecessary misstake....BTW you guy still flying 2S I thought all heli flyer is on 3S already

                              Scary.....
