Item is brand new. Although I soldered on the connectors (Castle creation gold bullet connectors on both motor side and battery side), its new and has never seen any current from the battery. You can have my word for it.

The connectors have been soldered with rather expensive solder with silver content (purchased from RCS) that is capable of withstanding much higher currents without melting.
